Demographic Information

AGI's Geoscience Workforce Program documents the supply of and demand for geoscientists by maintaining current data on student enrollments and degrees granted, including data on the diversity of the student population. The National Science Foundation maintains employment statistics for scientists in the United States, and this site presents data for the geosciences broadly defined.
