Elijah White, Jr.

Mr. White received a B.S. in geology from Elizabeth City State University (Elizabeth City, North Carolina) in 1981 and an M.S. in geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His thesis was entitled "Stratigraphy and Sedime
ntology of the Upper-Devonian Chemung and Brallier Formations in Southeastern West Virginia and Western Virginia". Mr. White joined Exxon Production and Research Co. (EPRCO) in Houston in 1984, following three summer internships with the company. In
addition to the Exxon internships, he also enjoyed summers with the National Park Service at Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky (1978), and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, Massachusetts (1979). After seven years as a research g
eologist with EPRCO, Mr. White transferred to Exxon's worldwide exploration company (EEC) with several assignments in the Far East and in strategic planning and business analysis. He is currently the Geologic Operations Manager of Exxon USA's Houston Prod
uction Organization.
Mr. White currently lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife Judy and two daughters, Raven, and Jasmine. Mr. White also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston United Cerebral Palsy, Inc., and as a member of AGI's Minority Participation P
rogram Advisory Committee.
